The Lanna Traditional House Museum, situated within the Center for the Promotion of Arts and Culture and Creative Lanna at Chiang Mai University, serves as a venue for the exhibition and preservation of traditional Lanna houses in diverse architectural forms. Each structure within the museum is an authentic historical house that has been relocated and conserved with the support of various institutions and individuals who recognize the cultural significance and value of Lanna architecture. At present, the museum comprises ten traditional houses and four rice granaries, each possessing its own distinct origin and historical background. Collectively, they constitute an important cultural heritage, meriting preservation and scholarly study as exemplars of traditional craftsmanship and indigenous knowledge of the past.
